The First Presbyterian Church of Chili welcomes all to our community of faith.
We experience God's presence among us and give thanks for God's gift of grace.
But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which be loved us...
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing,
it is the gift of God.
(Ephesias 2:4,8)
We are living God's word by our worship.
The light of God's Word:
† We will proclaim God's Word through worship, study, and fellowship.
† We will provide quality Christian Education programs for children, youth,
adults and families, and we will provide opportunities for their personal spiritual
development.
The Light of God's Hope:
† We will provide ministries of hope and support for persons and families
experiencing the difficulties of life. Those persons will find a community of support,
love, and compassion in the name of Jesus Christ.
† We will pay attention to the needs and concerns of "caregivers:"
persons who arc providing significant care for aging or infirm parents or siblings.
† We will encourage people to nurture the spiritual, mental,emotional, and
physical aspects of their lives.
The light of God's Generosity:
† We will encourage, honor; and celebrate the generosity of our congregation.
† We will seek to be generous people and to honor our place in the story of
miracles that God works through the generosity of human beings.
† We will engage in individual and corporate act's of love and financial
support for the mission of Christ to our community, our nation, and our world.
† We will support Christ's mission through the Presbytery of Genesee Valley,
the Synod of the Northeast, and the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church
(USA).
The light of God's Praise:
† We will provide worship, music, and fellowship which center our lives in
God's grace and encourage our daily gratitude for God's love.
† We will seek in all we do as a congregation, to bring praise to God, to
discern God's will, and to act as God's people.
