Backpack Program for Fall 2015

BACKPACK PROGRAM FOR FALL 2015

The Board of Deacons is collecting school supplies for families in need at Chestnut Ridge School, and we are asking for your help.  Thanks to the generosity of our church family, we had great success with this project last year.  All those who received backpacks were so appreciate!  We now look forward to another successful program for the 2015 school year!

Items may be chosen from the following supply lists.

Please place your donations in one of the labeled boxes in Fellowship Hall.  Money donations are also welcomed.

The deadline for contributions is Sunday, August 16th.

Kindergarten

2 Expo dry erase markers

2 Crayola crayons, 24 count regular

10 small or 5 large Elmer’s glue sticks, washable

1 package #2 Ticonderoga pencils, sharpened, 12 per pack

1 box of Crayola colored pencils, 12 count long

1 box of Crayola markers, washable, 8 count

First Grade

2 Crayola crayons, 24 count regular

12 small Elmer’s glue sticks, washable

2 packages #2 Ticonderoga pencils, sharpened, 12 per pack

1 eraser, medium, pink

1 box of washable markers

Second Grade

3 Elmer’s glue sticks, large, washable

Third Grade

5 plain pocket folders (1 each):

Fourth Grade

1 spiral notebook (wide rule, one subject)

1 package wide rule paper, 200 count

1 pencil bag, nylon, zippered
