IT TAKES 13,000 PIES TO BUILD A HOUSE!
The Harvest Home Coalition is having a pie sale fund raiser to build a Habitat Home in Rochester, NY in 2015. The profit for each pie goes toward the materials and construction supervision for this home. This home is being dedicated to Roger Cross, the founder of Flower City Habitat in Rochester, NY.
Pies are from Kelly’s Farm Market (Hilton, NY)

Made from scratch without preservatives with fruit grown on their farm!
Pies are deep 10” fruit pies, weighing about 4.5 lbs.
Pies freeze nicely!
There is a sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall for those who wish to order pies. Please make checks out to First Presbyterian Church of Chili (memo Habitat Pies).
Orders for pies need to be in by November 16, 2014.
Delivery of pies will be at Chili Pres Tuesday,
November 25, 2014 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Flower City Habitat partners work with low-income families to make home ownership possible. Partner families agree to Habitat’s three foundational principals:
1. A demonstrated need for adequate shelter.
2. An ability to pay a no-profit mortgage or loan.
3. A willingness to partner with Flower City
Habitat for Humanity with a belief in “a hand up not a hand out.” Families work sweat-equity hours and once they close on their home pay a no-profit mortgage.
Any donation to the Habitat Fund at Chili Pres would be welcome.
