On Sunday, September 25th, the Harvest Team has planned a Fellowship event luncheon at the Glen Iris Inn in Letchworth Park. Luncheon is scheduled at 1:15 so you should be at the restaurant no later than 1 PM. Be reminded that there is a per car cost of $10.00 to enter Letchworth State Park. You might want to partner with friends and ride together. Mapquest estimates a 55 minute ride from the church to the Glen Iris.
Luncheon is at 1:15 PM and will conclude at 2:30 PM. You’ll have plenty of time after lunch to stroll in the park or take in the scenic views and enjoy “life that is truly life” as you wend your way home.
The lunch choices are:
Seafood Salad — $19.50 includes service charge
(shrimp and crab on a flaky croissant)
Turkey Broccoli Croissant — $18.00 includes service charge
(sliced turkey, fresh broccoli and three cheese sauce served on a warm buttery croissant).
These are served with soup du jour, deli salad, desert and a choice of beverage. Drinks from the bar are on your own. For those who prefer gluten free, sandwiches are made on gluten free rolls instead of croissants.
A sign-up sheet is posted in Fellowship Hall. Checks should be made out to First Presbyterian Church of Chili with “Glen Iris” in the memo line. Please give your check to Nancy Huffman. Deadline to sign up is Friday, September 16th.
