The First Presbyterian Church of Chili Food Cupboard reaches out to families in our community and beyond who are in need of a supplementary source of food to help provide nutritious meals. The Food Cupboard will be open Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for grocery pick-up. Once you decide to take advantage of this service, you will be registered so that we can be better prepared to provide for your family’s needs.
We distribute two different size grocery bags of food…
One for a small family of 1 or 2 people.
Another for a large family of 4 or more people.
These bags will provide a wide assortment of non-perishable items.
Examples of food contained in each size bag include:
Canned fruits and vegetables
Canned and boxed meals (i.e., stew, hearty soups, tuna fish)
Soups; including cream soups for cooking
Pasta (i.e., spaghetti, macaroni, rice)
Cereal
Baking mixes (i.e., cake, muffin mix, pancake mix)
Dessert items
Condiments
During the holiday seasons of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, grocery bags containing special food items such as turkey, ham, breakfast and/or dessert food items will be available.
